SUMMARY:2017 Battle Buddy Golf Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Yes\, the 2017 Battle Buddy Golf outing has been cancelled\, and it is Irma’s fault! The Villages has opted for the safety of its residents and visitors by closing all Golf Courses and Recreation Centers until Irma has passed and is no longer a threat to The Villages residents and guests. \nThe Combat Veterans to Careers\, (CVC)\, CEO\, David Booth has spent hours discussing an alternative date\, but all facilities have been committed to other organizations\, so we had no other choice but to cancel the outing.  Yes\, The Villages and Village residents are very active and enjoy their facilities for both activity and entertainment. \nAs such\, CVC has the responsibility to issue a refund of your entry fee for the outing. In the attached document you will find a tear-off- strip to inform CVC of your wish to receive a refund.  Please complete the information requested\, and return the tear-off strip to CVC or your 2017 entry will be treated as a donation. CVC is a 501 (C)(3) Federal Tax Exempt organization.  If your choice is Donation\, your amount tendered for the 2017 Battle Buddy Golf Tournament can be claimed as a qualified charitable deduction for Federal Income Tax purposes. Our tax ID is 45-5187087. \nWe will miss visiting with our friends and making new friends as has always been the case at each year’s Battle Buddy Golf Outing.  We will announce the 2018 Battle Buddy tournament dates as soon as golf facilities and recreation facilities can be scheduled. \nAs always\, thank you for the very much needed support for Combat Veterans to Careers. \nPlease respond as soon as possible\, but no later than September 30\, 2017. \nClick here to Fill Out the Refund Form. \nPlease Print out and return to CVC by September 30.
