Chartered Financial Consultant® and Certified Financial Planner Professional™ Tom Ruggie founded his firm in 1991 to serve the needs of individuals, small businesses and non-profit organizations and agencies.

Since then, Ruggie Wealth Management has been ranked among the nation’s 50 Fastest Growing RIA Firms (Financial Advisor Magazine), and Tom himself has been cited among the Top 100 Wealth Managers (Advisor One), Top 100 Independent Advisors (Registered Rep Magazine), Top 40 Most Influential Advisors (401k Wire) and most recently, was again honored as one of Barron’s Top 1,000 Advisors (2015, 2013, 2009).

The Florida native graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in finance, and has served on the Leesburg Regional Medical Center Foundation, as president of the Mid-Florida Estate Planning Council and as chairman of the Cornerstone Hospice Foundation Board. He was appointed by the Governor to the Florida Prepaid College Plan which manages more than $10 billion in assets and serves over 80,000 college students annually, and served as its vice-chairman.

Tom and his wife Kim started the Tom & Kim Ruggie Family Foundation to support local projects that strengthen the bond of families, improve the quality of people’s lives and enhance opportunities for access to life-enriching services such as healthcare and education. The couple has two children.
